Meet our Christmas tree “Clarence Bailey”. He’s super talkative during movies and he’s kind of needy, but we love him.

Good Food & Bad Lighting

Posted: November 22nd, 2009 | 4 Comments »

The James Family and our friends Jenny and Kyle went to the Quarry House for some late night food and good company. Please forgive the very bad photos. I still love the memories these images evoke in my heart, even though it was like photographing in a tomb. Seriously there was no light in there, but the menu had tater tots, so I guess that makes up for the lack of light.

f/1.4 + manual focus + iso 6500 = really bad photos, but good times.

Thanks Ryan for taking some photos too. I love you!

ps. I did not eat the tater tots even though they looked amazing. Also, you should be listening to The Strokes while viewing these photos. It adds to the mood really well.

Pumpkin Love Lunchtime

Posted: November 7th, 2009 | 4 Comments »

Today for lunch I had some homemade vegan, gluten-free, & everything free pumpkin soup with homemade pumpkin muffins. It was all very good considering it was totally free from all the foods that are on my black list (I will not bore you with all the gory details of my food black list). It’s a good feeling to have yummy food that is also good for my body. Thank you lord for Google search, and finding recipes that fulfill my cravings.

Did I mention I love the color orange? Yes. It’s one of my favorite colors. I also love to eat things that are the color orange.  As you can plainly see.

I have been so busy lately that I have been totally neglecting this little space of mine. My blog was the first area that seams to have fallen off my plate this last month.

I am in the processing of a lot of things, one of which is very important to my future life. I really shouldn’t go into much details, but let’s just say I am reading a lot, doing a lot of “homework” and studying my buns off.

Life can get so crazy sometimes that I have a difficult time slowing down and enjoying the craziness that is all around me. That craziness that really equals much blessings.

I can’t promise anything, but I hope to get my act together and post more. I do indeed hope for that to happen. What dearest reader would you enjoy seeing here on my blog? More photos? Less talk? More talk? Let me know because your input matters to me!
